Tanah Laut – PTTNews. Mas'ud Khamid and Iskriono Windiardjanto, both President Commissioner and President Director of Telkom Akses respectively, performed STO Shutdown procession in Bati Bati Sub-District, Tanah Laut Regency, South Kalimantan Province on August 4, 2017. STO Shutdown Procession is shutting down the central telephone system of copper based copper cable to be fiber optics based.

A total of 387 direct connection units (copper wire based telephone) customers in Bati Bati Subdistrict have been migrated entirely to fiber optic. 387 units of direct customer connections in the district are spread over 90 ODP and 5 ODC. In addition fiber optic network construction also serves the new IndiHome Triple Play installation demand in the region.

After migrating from copper cable to fiber optic, the network will be repaired, such as lowering the copper cable from the telephone pole, and painting the phone poles that have been installed in red and white which represents Telekom's telephone pole. This was conveyed by Hadi Susilo, Area Manager of Telkom Akses South Kalimantan.

On the occasion, the President Commissioner and President Director of Telkom Akses visited Bunyamin Regency to witness the cluster area that has been done 100% migration to fiber optic and network improvement.

At the end of the visit the President Commissioner of Telkom Akses advised that all Warrior Akses always be careful in working in the field, always keep the network quality, and always provide the best for the customer.
